At this event hosted in Manchester, we will announce the finalists for the opening round of the competition, focusing on solutions in energy, environment and infrastructure. The selected teams will be awarded £100K in seed-funding to develop their solutions for the chance to win the £1 million grand prize.

The evening will feature a keynote from Viscount Camrose, Minister for AI and Intellectual Property, and bring together leading figures in the fields of AI, energy, environment and infrastructure for an expert panellist discussion, including:

• Felicity Burch – Executive Director, Responsible Technology Adoption Unit, Department for Science Innovation and Technology
• Nick Jennings – Chair of the Manchester Prize Judging Panel
• Nathan Elstub – Executive Chair, Impact Investment Committee at Nesta
• Lucy Yu – Chief Executive at Centre for Net Zero

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear pitches directly from the selected teams and learn about their highly innovative AI solutions.

The event will begin promptly at 6pm, concluding at around 7.30pm. For those who wish to, we will be providing a wine reception and networking session until 9pm.
