James Mason

James Mason is a senior modeller specialising in urban drainage modelling both at large catchment planning scale and for detailed solution design. James has keen interest in utilising twenty first century skills to improve and automate traditionally manual modelling process and has experience in computer programming for data science. Using these skills James is currently researching the application numerical machine learning models where ongoing build and verification of traditional deterministic models are not cost effective. He has 12 years’ experience in the UK water industry includes liaising with water company operations teams, as well as regulatory reporting, governance, and auditing.
