Matt Goodridge

Matt, Co-founder and CTO of Kestrix, is a technical leader with 20+ years’ experience developing high-tech products and leading engineering teams and projects at organisations such as Google, McKinsey, and Vodafone. Matt has an MEng in Engineering and Computer Science with a specialism in computer vision from Oxford. He’s applied computer vision to tracking 3D motion of aero-engine components during engine certification testing at Rolls-Royce Aerospace and a further project in SLAM (simultaneous location and mapping) for autonomous wheeled robots. In 2021, Matt led the architectural design team integrating Fitbit’s data platform into Google. Matt is also a certified drone pilot, with a strong understanding of aviation regulation constraining the use of drones for data collection.
