Lior holds a first-class integrated master’s degree in Physics from the University of Bristol, where she received the prize for best master’s research. Her master’s work involved creating a model for cooling micro-particles from the Fukushima nuclear meltdown, providing
groundbreaking insights for reactor decommissioning. This research was published in Nature’s Scientific Reports (the world’s fifth most cited journal). Before joining Kestrix, Lior spent three years as a backend developer at Sky, where they played a key role in scaling the
platform to support the largest streaming event in history and led the expansion of streaming platforms into Africa.
