Alinane Brown Kilembe
Alinane Brown Kilembe holds a BSc in Renewable Energy Technologies from Mzuzu University and an MSc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where he is currently finalising his PhD. He has also recently joined the University of Manchester as a Researcher. His research focuses on the application of machine learning to power system frequency stability, related to security-constrained optimisation and adaptive emergency control using reinforcement learning. His primary research interests lie in power system stability and dynamics.
He has worked as a researcher on sustainable energy technologies at AFREPREN/FWD, Nairobi, Kenya, under the UNEP and AfDB-funded Cogen for Africa project. He also has hands-on experience as an electrical engineer with Negawatt Energy and Industrial Engineering, Malawi.
